High School Peer Coaching
Loyola’s Undergraduate Ethics Fellows partner with New Orleans high schools to deliver peer-led, hands-on coaching in financial literacy grounded in ethics and real life. Through a short series of interactive workshops—budgeting first, then banking, saving, credit, and work & wages—Fellows help students build practical plans, avoid common pitfalls, and connect money choices to personal and community values. Each visit includes near-peer mentoring, quick activities, and take-home tools (budget templates, savings checklists, goal trackers) so learning sticks beyond the classroom. Schools can request a single session or co-design a series tailored to bell schedules and student goals.
